How to generate images in a Telegram group

Reply to a photo to edit
Reply to any photo in the chat with
/imgand the change you want – the bot redraws that photo.

The bot answers each person in their own Telegram language and reacts only to its commands – the rest of the chat is left alone. Every picture also lands in your Mini App gallery.
Who pays in a group
Any member of the group can pay for any picture – not only its author. Credits come off the author's balance when there are enough; otherwise anyone in the chat can pay in Stars. Per-model prices are in the guide.

Your 10 welcome credits work in groups on GPT Image 2 at 1K – 1 credit a picture, 2 an edit. Other models and 2K/4K take a credit pack (100, 250, 500 or 1000 credits for 100, 250, 500 or 950 ⭐ in the bot) or a one-off payment. One-off payment needs at least two people in the chat besides the bot; with only you and the bot, the bot sends a button to its private chat to buy a pack.

Can I choose the model for my group – GPT Image 2, Nano Banana or Flux?
Yes, if you're an admin of the chat. Send /model in the group, pick the model, then its quality. The choice applies to every /img in that chat. Until an admin picks one, the group uses GPT Image 2 at 1K.
Which models are available in a group?
The same image models as in the TinyFile Mini App: GPT Image 2, GPT Image 2.5, Nano Banana 2, Nano Banana Pro, Nano Banana 2 Lite, Flux 2 Pro, Grok Imagine, Grok Imagine 2 and Qwen Image 2.1. A chat admin picks one model and quality with /model. A picture costs the same credits as in the Mini App (see the price table in the guide), and a one-off payment is 1 credit = 1 ⭐.
Can the bot make videos in a Telegram group?
Yes, once a chat admin turns it on: send /model, open 🎬 Video, tap ▶️ Turn on video and pick a model – Seedance 2.0 Mini, Seedance 2.0 Fast, Seedance 2.0, Seedance 1.5 Pro, Kling 3.0, Grok Imagine, Veo 3.1 or Gemini Omni (Grok Imagine at 480p by default). Then anyone sends /video and a prompt; the clip arrives as a reply in a few minutes, with the model in the caption and a 🔄 Once more button for its author. Video is paid from the author's credits and opens with a credit pack – the 10 welcome credits cover GPT Image 2 only.
Can the bot animate a photo or edit a video in a group?
It animates photos: reply to a photo with /video and describe the motion, or send a photo with /video … as its caption. Editing a video isn't available in groups: a /video or /img sent in reply to a video or GIF gets a short hint and costs nothing.
Who pays for images in a Telegram group?
Any member of the chat can pay for any picture. Credits come off the balance of whoever sends /img; without credits, the bot replies with a Telegram Stars invoice, 1 credit = 1 ⭐, that anyone in the chat can pay – the picture still goes to the author.
Is the group image bot free?
Adding it is free, and every new user gets 10 welcome credits – in a group they cover up to 10 pictures on GPT Image 2 at 1K. Other models and 2K/4K take a credit pack or a one-off Stars payment (see who pays).
Can the bot edit a photo in the group?
Yes. Reply to the photo with /img and describe the change, for example “turn it into a watercolor”. Every model edits except Grok Imagine 2, which draws from text only.
What happens if the model refuses my prompt?
Paying with credits, you lose nothing – they are taken only for a finished picture. After a one-off payment, the author has 10 minutes of free retries with a new prompt; if nothing passes, the Stars go back to whoever paid. If the model provider fails, the payer gets the refund right away.
