Privacy Policy

1. Overview

TinyFile is a Telegram bot for image compression, format conversion, and video sticker creation, plus a mini app for AI image and video generation and sticker packs. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. File Processing

When you send a file to the bot for compression, conversion, or sticker creation:

• Files are processed in real time and are not stored after delivery.
• Processed files are automatically deleted from our servers once the result is sent back to you.
• We do not view, analyze, or share the content of your files.
• No backups or copies of your files are retained.

3. AI Generation in the Mini App

Generating images and video works differently from file processing, and the difference matters:

• Your input goes to third-party model providers. The prompt you write and any photo or video you attach are sent to the provider of the model you pick, so it can produce the result. Each provider handles that data under its own terms and privacy policy.
• Results are kept for 30 days. Generated images and video stay in your gallery inside the app so you can come back to them, then are deleted automatically. Download anything you want to keep longer.
• Stickers you have sent to a pack live in that pack on Telegram and are not affected by the 30-day gallery limit.
• We do not train any models on your prompts, uploads, or results.

4. Data We Collect

We collect the minimum needed for the bot and the app to function:

• Telegram User ID – to track usage limits, hold your credit balance, and process payments via Telegram Stars.
• Usage counters – number of compressions, conversions, and stickers created per week to enforce free tier limits.
• Credit balance and purchase history – to apply the welcome credits correctly and to honour credits you have bought.
• Generation history – prompts and results stay in your gallery for 30 days, as described above.
• Language preference – to serve the interface in your language.

We do not collect your name, phone number, contacts, or message history.

5. Website Analytics and Cookies

The TinyFile website (tinyfile.bot) collects anonymous analytics to understand traffic sources and visitor behavior:

• Page visits, referrer URL, and browser language.
• IP addresses are hashed and anonymized – we cannot identify individual visitors from them.
• This analytics is our own. We do not use Google Analytics or any comparable third-party analytics service.

Advertising cookies. The site runs the Google Ads tag so we can measure how many people who arrive from our ads go on to open the bot. The tag sets cookies in your browser for that measurement. It tells us how many conversions happened – not who you are.

In the EEA and the UK these cookies are only set after you accept them, and you can change your mind at any time: change your cookie choice.

6. Payments

Payments are processed entirely through Telegram Stars, Telegram's built-in payment system, including credit top-ups inside the app. We do not handle or store any payment card information. All payment data is managed by Telegram in accordance with their privacy policy.

7. Third-Party Services

TinyFile operates within the Telegram platform and uses the Telegram Bot API. By using TinyFile, you are also subject to Telegram's Privacy Policy.

AI generation additionally relies on external model providers, as described in section 3. Apart from Telegram, those providers, and the advertising measurement in section 5, we do not share your data with anyone.

8. Data Retention

• Files sent to the bot: Deleted immediately after processing and delivery.
• Generations in the app: Prompts and results are kept 30 days, then deleted.
• Usage data: Weekly counters reset every Monday at 00:00 UTC; welcome credits are granted once, when you start the bot.
• Analytics: Anonymized, retained for statistical purposes.

9. Restricted Territories

TinyFile is not available in territories subject to comprehensive international sanctions. By using the bot or the app, you confirm that you are not located in, and are not using the service on behalf of anyone located in:

• Cuba
• Iran
• North Korea
• Syria
• The occupied territories of Ukraine

This restriction follows the terms of the AI model providers and payment systems TinyFile relies on. If we learn the service is being used from one of these territories, we may stop providing it to that account.

10. Your Rights

You can stop using TinyFile at any time by blocking the bot in Telegram. Once blocked, the bot will no longer be able to send you any messages. If you have questions about your data, contact us through the bot.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
