How to add @tinyfile_bot to a Telegram group

Open the chat with @tinyfile_bot, open its profile and use Add to Group or Channel.

• iPhone and iPad: tap the bot's name at the top → Add to Group or Channel → pick the group → Add.
• Android: tap the bot's name at the top → ⋮ → Add to Group or Channel → pick the group → Add.
• Telegram Desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux): click the bot's name at the top → Add to Group or Channel → pick the group → Add.
• Telegram Web: the profile route differs between Web versions – add the bot from the group's member list instead (see the next question).

Open the group's info, tap Add Members and search for tinyfile_bot – like adding any member.

• iPhone and iPad: group name at the top → Add Members → type tinyfile_bot → TinyFile → Add.
• Android: group name at the top → Add Members → find tinyfile_bot → ✓ → Add.
• Telegram Desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux): group name at the top → Add Members → find tinyfile_bot → Add.
• Telegram Web: group name at the top → the add-members button (a person with +) → find tinyfile_bot → →.

Yes – in the private chat with the bot, open Tools, tap 👥 Add to chat, then ➕ Choose a group. It opens the same group picker as the one-tap link.

Type /img followed by what you want to see – the bot replies with the image in the same thread.

• /img a red fox in a snowy forest, watercolor – a new image.
• Reply to a photo with /img make it a pencil sketch – an edit of that photo. A photo sent with /img … as its caption works too, and so does a PNG, JPG or WEBP file.
• /video a paper boat sailing down a rainy street – a clip, if an admin turned video on; reply to a photo with /video to animate it.
• Several bots in the group? Use /img@tinyfile_bot so the command reaches TinyFile.
• Prompts can be in any language; links in a prompt aren't accepted.

A chat admin sends /model in the group and picks a model, then a quality – the choice applies to every /img in that chat.

1. Send /model in the group. The bot shows “⚙️ Generation in this chat” and the current setting.
2. Tap 🖼 Images or 🎬 Video. In 🎬 Video, ▶️ Turn on video lets members use /video; the video models are Seedance 2.0 Mini, Seedance 2.0 Fast, Seedance 2.0, Seedance 1.5 Pro, Kling 3.0, Grok Imagine, Veo 3.1 and Gemini Omni.
3. Tap a model: GPT Image 2, GPT Image 2.5, Nano Banana 2, Nano Banana Pro, Nano Banana 2 Lite, Flux 2 Pro, Grok Imagine, Grok Imagine 2 or Qwen Image 2.1.
4. Tap a quality (1K, 2K, 4K and so on). The bot confirms with “✅ Saved”.
5. To go back to the default, tap Default: … at the bottom of the model list.

Only the group's creator and admins can open /model; an admin posting anonymously counts too. Everyone else gets “Only chat admins can change the model.” Prices per model are in the guide.

No – @tinyfile_bot works as a regular member, because it only reacts to its own commands.

• Privacy: the bot acts only on /img, /video, /model, /start and /help. It doesn't process other messages, even if you make it an admin.
• Optional admin right: with Delete messages, the bot also removes a failed /img together with its 30-second hint; without it, only the hint disappears.
• Group types: basic groups and supergroups, including groups with topics – the image comes back in the same topic.
• Channels: not supported. In a group, /img sent on behalf of a channel or by an anonymous admin gets “Send /img from your personal account”.
• Photos: if the group bans media for members, the bot can't post images – allow photos or make the bot an admin.

Any member of the chat can pay for any image – not only whoever sent /img.

• Credits come off the balance of whoever sent /img, once the picture is ready.
• No credits, or the chat's model opens only with a pack – the bot replies to the /img with an invoice in Telegram Stars: 1 credit = 1 ⭐.
• Anyone in the chat can pay it – the image still goes to whoever sent /img. One payment per request: a second one is declined.
• Moderation refuses the prompt – the author retries with a new prompt, free and as often as needed, for 10 minutes. If nothing passes, the Stars go back to whoever paid.
• The model provider fails – the Stars go back to whoever paid right away. A delivered image isn't refunded.
• One-off payment needs at least two people in the chat besides the bot. Alone with the bot, you get a button to its private chat to buy a credit pack.
• A one-off payment buys one image; a credit pack opens every model. The 10 welcome credits cover GPT Image 2 at 1K only.
